Compared to the average supermarket, Smithie's is tiny. It has seven aisles, plus a very small deli and dairy section. The outside is completely white, and has large sliding glass doors. A light-up sign, reading 'Smithie's; Locally owned since 1987', is set on top of the flat roof, and illuminates a bright red at night time. In front of the store, a small expanse of land has been turned into a car park. It is the main parking area for the town, and so tends to be used by the most of people down the street.

Roses & Strings is the town's local music store. The building, which has an old appearance to it, was once the town's general store. Given to Jay Stone as a birthday present, he now owns the store, supplying a surprisingly large range of musical instruments and other needs. Despite the age of the building, the store has been given a modern look via a paint job of blacks, pinks and electric blue. It sure sticks out on the main street, not exactly fitting into the antique picture that the rest of the centre gives off. This place is Heaven on Earth to all local music lovers!

The store front is painted a pale coffee colour, and the rims around the windows are a chocolate brown, giving the place a warming, welcoming appearance. The chairs out front are the same chocolate brown, accompanied by glass tables. Inside, the place is always a comfortable temperature and smelling of things both sweet and savoury. It is a very small place, with only two tables on the inside, which are identical to the ones outside. Anything you'd find at a bakery is served here, plus some other delicious homemade dishes. The food here is definitely the best in Gandaki.

Outside the store stands some outdoor settings which have been on display since the store expanded to include oudoor and home decor items. The garden & home area is like any typical store on large scale; big glass windows and sliding doors. Except the floor of this building is stone. The outside and inside alike are painted a strange green colour, and there's a large sign on the outer wall, displaying the store's name. The farming & animal supplies section has a large drive-thru where you can park beside the masses of animal feed to collect what you need. The place smells strongly of chicken feed and other grains, but in an almost pleasant way.

Gandaki Famer's Market is open on a weekly basis, every sunday. You can buy hand-made everything here! Jams, scarves, toys, cards, cakes & slices, clothing; anything you could dream of! There's a jumping castle for the little ones, and a monthly sheep and cattle sale, too. You could come as a buyer, or sell your own products, it's up to you!

Yes, that's right, they never bothered giving the local cinema a decent name. They wanted to be original. Come here to enjoy a movie with that special someone. There is a kiosk out the front which sells all sorts of junk foods and fizzy drinks. Due to Gandaki being a small town, the cinema only runs on Friday and Saturday nights.

With so many farmers and animal workers around, someone's bound to get injured! This is exactly as it reads; the hospital. Come here for a check-up or any medical emergencies.

The name 'Wikarra' means 'tall' in Gupapuynu, which is a decent hint to its appearance. Mount Wikarra is the highest in the state, standing over a thousand metres in the air. It provides fantastic bush walking for anyone who's fit enough. The Gurrukama Falls shower over the west side into a large river.

Located at the base of Mount Wikarra is this fine little camping ground, where most of the tourists to Gandaki accommodate. Pitch a tent or bring along your caravan and stay in the tranquility of the bush which this place provides.

Located on the edge of the bushland, the Riding Arena is a very beautiful place. Lessons are held on Saturdays, but it is open to the public every day for anyone who wishes to ride there.
